I purchased this for my husband
two Christmas's ago. Great Book.
My husband Don is a bang-up cook. He is the master of stir fry. Stir fry is his go to cooking style especially when Wild game is on the menu. Oregon is a fertile territory for the avid hunter and the Wambach family surely has their portion with so many hunters in the family. I promise to highlight one of his recipes real soon, with hunting season open my promise will be made due. All his stir fry partnered with perfect rice. Rice is on the Wambach table at least two times a week, and we loved the Aroma digital rice make so much after almost three years of hard use we purchased a 2nd model. She is still ticking and cooking on into her 2nd year. A true value to our kitchen.
We found this at the local "spa" store. A favorite by our barbecue.
Harriet love's a good estate sale, garage sale or 1/2 of everything. Deals are just for the finding. Last weekend she found such a sale.
Harriet & Red her husband love a bit of "Port" to end a busy day, so they were delighted to find 3 crystal port/sherry glasses for $3.00.
The stickers from Romania still on them. Those old stickers can be a pickle to get off and consideration needed to be taken to protect fragile glass.
Harriet soaked the glasses in a shallow bowl of white vinegar for about 10 min. Then washed the rest of the now softened residue off with ease.
Vinegar has many wonderful uses.
I've highlight below my favorite Vinegar book, My dear friend Grandma Rose from Aurora gave me one years ago. No home should be without one.
