My staple go to frosting.
Disclaimer, I use a raw egg for this recipe, can't beat old fashioned goodness, it makes the frosting consistency shiny and rich. Purchasing organic neighborhood farm eggs are advised. I have been using this recipe for over 30 years and have never had an issue. Pray over it if your concerned. Its the best!
