I am not a fan of washing food processors. My husband who is a true foodie will wash anything for the sake of slicing and dicing, Bah! I want easy, few parts as possible and this one has one my favor. I use it almost everyday. A bit spend'y, has won my favor. Perfect wedding gift.

deep 2 quart pot/dutch oven steamer
clean recycled glass pickle jar or 2 quart canning jar with lid.
Recipe Easy Hard Boiled Eggs
place a dozen eggs in large pot with steamer, fill with water just below eggs, (if the water touchs the eggs they will not peel easily.)
cook on High heat
Start timer when steaming
12 min. 12 eggs
17 min. 18-24
add more time with more eggs
cool eggs under running water
quick cool: add ice

Mom Richards Pickled Eggs

2 Cups Vinegar
2 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pickling
I usually double the recipe
12 eggs hard boiled and peeled
place in clean glass jar, (while your steaming them for hard boiling)
simmer salt, spices, sugar in vinegar for about 15 min.
add food color of choice
pour hot liquid into glass jar over peeled hard boiled eggs. Cover with lid, Wait 3 days
